Please review these terms carefully as they create a legal contract upon which we intend to rely, and they may have changed since you last reviewed them.

Important:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website - if you are not, you must not use our website, create an online account, or purchase any products. By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

  • Nothing on our website constitutes medical advice. If you require medical advice or if you have any medical questions (including as to whether our products are suitable for you), please speak to your doctor or another appropriately qualified medical professional before ordering any products.

  • As with any supplement product, our products should not be used as a substitute for eating a healthy, balanced and varied diet in combination with healthy eating habits – for more information please contact your doctor or an appropriately qualified medical professional.

  • Our products are not intended to treat, cure or prevent any medical condition - they are intended to help mitigate the effects of the relevant medical condition for which they are intended to be used. It is your responsibility to monitor any medical condition(s) you have and to take appropriate precautions.

  • Dosage information is provided as a guide only as the actual required dosage will depend on your personal circumstances at the relevant time. It is your responsibility to determine the dosage you require based on your facts and circumstances and in consultation with your doctor or an appropriately qualified medical professional. Please read the product instructions each time you receive a product in case they have changed since you last reviewed them.

  • SOME OF THESE TERMS APPLY ONLY TO CONSUMERS. “CONSUMER” MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL ACTING FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE WHOLLY OR MAINLY OUTSIDE OF THAT INDIVIDUAL'S TRADE, BUSINESS, CRAFT OR PROFESSION. FOR EXAMPLE, LIMITED COMPANIES ARE NOT ‘CONSUMERS’. IN THESE TERMS WE REFER TO PERSONS WHO ARE NOT CONSUMERS AS “BUSINESS PURCHASERS”.

  • WE USE SOME WORDS AND PHRASES IN THESE TERMS THAT HAVE SET MEANINGS. WHERE WE DO THIS, WE WILL TELL YOU WHAT THE WORD OR PHRASE MEANS THE FIRST TIME IT IS USED, AND WE WILL USE A CAPITAL LETTER AT THE FRONT OF THAT WORD OR PHRASE EACH TIME IT IS USED.

  • IN THESE TERMS, IF WE USE THE WORDS INCLUDING, INCLUDE, IN PARTICULAR, FOR EXAMPLE OR ANY SIMILAR EXPRESSION, WE ARE GIVING EXAMPLES AND THOSE WORDS SHALL NOT LIMIT THE SENSE OF THE WORDS, DESCRIPTION, DEFINITION, PHRASE OR TERM THAT FOLLOWS THOSE WORDS.

For ease of reference, we are Venture Life Healthcare Limited (“We", “Us” “Our”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 05623945 and have Our registered office at Venture House, Arlington Square, Downshire Way, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 1WA. Where We ship to

We currently ship to the United Kingdom and BFPO. Regrettably We are unable to ship to other locations – We hope to be able to ship to other locations in the future.

When you buy from Us you are agreeing that:

Our acceptance of your order

We will contact you to confirm We've received your order. This communication acts as Our acceptance of your order.

Orders that We accept will be shipped as follows:

  • Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank and public holidays in England) will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2pm will be shipped the next working day (being a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, bank or public holiday in England).
  • Orders are processed Monday – Friday, excluding bank and public holidays in England. All orders will be dispatched the next working day (being a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, bank or public holiday in England).
  • Your dispatch email will include a tracking number so you can track your order.
  • Delivery is free for all orders of £20 and over.
  • Shipments to Scottish Highlands and Islands will incur a surcharge. To see charges, view our Shipping Policy.

 

Subscriptions

    When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries – these terms and conditions (as may be updated as described in these terms and conditions) will apply to all such deliveries.

    Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries.

    Subscriptions are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select when you place your order.

    If you want to cancel your subscription, you can do so at any time – if you cancel your subscription after payment has been taken for the relevant delivery, you will be charged for that delivery and you will receive the corresponding product because We ship orders quickly after receipt – however if you do not want a product you have received in such circumstances, you may return it for a refund as described in the “You have a legal right to change your mind” heading below. Your order confirmation email will contain a link to your order.

    You can manage your subscription from your on-line account.

    Sometimes We reject orders

    Sometimes We reject orders, for example, because a product is unexpectedly out of stock, because We can't verify your age (e.g. regarding the age restriction on Our website or where the product is age-restricted), because you are located outside the countries We ship to or because the product was mispriced by Us. When this happens, We let you know as soon as possible and refund any sums you have paid. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

    We charge you when you place your order

    However, for products ordered on a subscription We take payment at regular intervals, as explained to you during the order process. You will own the relevant product once We have received payment in full for it.

    We charge interest on late payments

    If We're unable to collect any payment you owe Us We charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate from time to time. This interest accrues on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You pay Us the interest together with any overdue amount.

    We pass on some increases in VAT

    If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date We supply the relevant product, We adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.

    We're not responsible for delays outside Our control

    If Our supply of your product is delayed by an event outside Our control, such as you providing Us with incorrect address information or contact details, your payment card details not being kept up to date, bad weather, strikes, failures of delivery companies, or failure of IT and telecommunications networks or systems, We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and do what We can to reduce the delay. As long as We do this, We won't compensate you for the delay, but if the delay is likely to be substantial you can contact Our Customer Service Team: by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB) to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for, but not received. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

    Products can vary slightly from their pictures

    A product's true colour may not exactly match that shown on your device or in Our marketing, or its packaging may be slightly different.

    You have a legal right to change your mind

    Your legal right to change your mind. For most of Our products bought online, you have a legal right to change your mind about your purchase and receive a refund of what you paid for it, including the delivery costs. This is subject to some exceptions and conditions, as set out below. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

    Orders are picked and packed shortly after they are placed so We cannot change or prevent orders being shipped once orders have been accepted. If your order arrives and you wish to cancel and return your order, please contact Us by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB) and Our customer service team will be happy to help arrange a return and refund in accordance with (and subject to) these terms.

     

    When you can't change your mind. You can't change your mind about an order for:

    • products sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, once these have been unsealed after you receive them, for example glucose tablets and liquid glucose “shots”; or
    • products which have been consumed or used.

    The deadline for changing your mind. If you change your mind about a product, you must let Us know no later than 14 days after the day We deliver it. If the product is for regular delivery (for example, a subscription), you can only change your mind after the first delivery – there is one exception to this which We have set out below. If your purchase (or your first delivery in the case of subscriptions) is split into several deliveries over different days, the period runs from the day after the last delivery. As an exception to this above position regarding your right to change your mind regarding products received under a subscription, if you cancel your subscription after payment has been taken for the relevant delivery, and you do not want a product you have received in such circumstances, you are welcome to return it for a refund as described in the “You have a legal right to change your mind” heading above – such returns will be subject to these terms and conditions.

    How to let Us know. To let Us know you want to change your mind, contact Our Customer Service Team by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB), or write to Us or fill in a paper copy of the model cancellation form at the end of these terms and conditions and email it to Us at customercare@liftglucose.com or post it to Us at Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB. You do not have to use the model cancellation form.

    You have to return the product at your own cost. Unless We agree otherwise on a case by case basis, you have to return your product to Us within 14 days of your telling Us you have changed your mind. Returns are at your own cost, unless We offered free returns when you bought the product.

    You can send the product back to Us. If you do this you should keep a receipt or other evidence from the delivery service that proves you have sent it and when you sent it. If you don’t do this and We don’t receive the goods at all or within a reasonable time We won't refund you the price.

    We only refund standard delivery costs. We don't refund any extra you have paid for express delivery or delivery at a particular time.

    We reduce your refund if you have used or damaged a product. If you handle the product in a way which would not be acceptable in-store, We may reduce your refund, to compensate Us for its reduced value. For example, We may reduce your refund if the product’s condition is not “as new”, price tags have been removed, the packaging is damaged or accessories are missing, or if it has not been stored appropriately (please see product instructions and the “FAQs" information published on Our website: FAQs. In some cases, because of the way you have treated the product, no refund may be due. Our Customer Service Team will be pleased to discuss with you and will be able to explain whether We're likely to reduce your refund – they can be contacted by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB).

    When and how We refund you. If you tell Us you've changed your mind about a product that hasn't been delivered, We refund you as soon as possible and within 14 days. If you're sending your product back to Us, We refund you within 14 days of receiving it (or receiving evidence you've sent it to Us). We refund you by the original method you used for payment. We don't charge a fee for the refund.

    If more than 21 days have passed since We’ve approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact Us by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB).

    You can end an on-going contract (find out how)

    We tell you when and how you can end an on-going contract with Us (for example, for a product subscription) during the order process and We confirm this information to you in writing after We've accepted your order. If you have any questions, please contact Our Customer Service Team by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB). You can also manage subscriptions in your on-line account.

    You have rights if there is something wrong with your product

    If you think there is something wrong with your product, please contact Our Customer Service Team by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB).

    We honour Our legal duty to provide you with products that are as described to you on Our website and that meet all the requirements imposed by law.

    We are required by law to provide goods which are in conformance with the terms of the contract applicable to your purchase.

    For information about your legal rights please visit the Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk or speak to your legal advisor. Remember too that you have several options for resolving disputes with Us.

      

    We can change products and these terms

    Changes We can always make. We can always change a product and these terms:

    • in respect of these terms and products: to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements;
    • in respect of products: to make technical adjustments and improvements. These are changes that don't affect the intended use of the product – for example, we might make changes in the presentation or packaging of the product or to the instructions for the product.

    We can suspend supply (and you have rights if We do)

    We can suspend the supply of a product. We may do this to:

    • deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes;
    • to verify your age;
    • update the product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; or
    • make changes to the product. (see We can change products and these terms).

     

    We will let you know, may adjust the price and may allow you to terminate. We contact you in advance to tell you We're suspending supply, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. If We suspend the product We adjust the price so you don't pay for it while its suspended. If We suspend supply, or tell you We're going to suspend supply, for more than 7 days you can contact Our Customer Service Team by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB) to end the contract and We'll refund any sums you've paid in advance for products you won't receive. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

     

    We can withdraw products

    We can stop providing a product you have purchased. We will let you know at least 45 days in advance and We refund any sums you've paid in advance for products which won't be provided. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

     

    We can end Our contract with you

    We can end Our contract with you for a product and claim any compensation due to Us if you don't make any payment to Us when it's due (for example if your card is declined or if your payment card details have expired) or your payment is subsequently declined and, in each case, you still don't make payment within 7 days of Our reminding you that payment is due.

    We can also end Our contract with you if you do not meet Our website age requirements, if you are residing outside of the countries to which Our website is made available (please see paragraph 8 of Our website Terms & Conditions of Use for details: HERE, or if you have requested delivery to a location outside of the areas We deliver to (please see the “Where We ship to” section above). When this happens, We will let you know as soon as possible and refund any sums you have paid.

    We don't compensate you for all losses caused by Us or Our products

     

    Whether you are a Consumer or a Business Purchaser:

    • We do not exclude or limit in any way Our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or the negligence of Our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

     

    If you are a Consumer purchaser:

    You agree not to purchase or use Our products for any commercial or business purposes, and We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

    We're responsible for losses you suffer caused by Us breaking this contract unless the loss is:

    • Unexpected. It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to Us before We accepted your order meant We should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).
    • Caused by a delaying event outside Our control. As long as We have taken the steps set out in the section We're not responsible for delays outside Our control.
    • Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following Our reasonable instructions for use.
    • A business loss. It relates to your use of a product for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.

     

    If you are a Business Purchaser:

    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, We exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to your purchase or use of goods from Us.
    • We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions or your purchase of goods from Us.
    • We will not be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise for any of the following arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or your purchase of goods from Us:
      • loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
      • loss of contracts;
      • business interruption;
      • loss of anticipated savings;
      • loss of use or corruption of software, data or information;
      • loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or
      • any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
    • Our maximum aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with an order for goods shall be the greater of (i) a sum equivalent to 200% of the purchase price of the goods in the relevant order and (ii) £100 (one hundred pounds).

    You have several options for resolving disputes with Us

    Our complaints policy. Our Customer Service Team will do their best to resolve any problems you have with Us or Our products. Our Customer Service Team can be contacted by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB).

    You can go to court. These terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against Us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man you can also bring claims against Us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.

    If you are a Business Purchaser, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

    Other important terms apply to Our contract

     

    We can transfer Our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying your product. We'll tell you in writing if this happens and We'll ensure that the transfer won't affect your rights under the contract. If you're unhappy with the transfer you can contact Our Customer Service Team by email (customercare@liftglucose.com) or phone (+44 (0)1344 578004 ) or by writing to Us (Venture Life Healthcare Limited, 12 The Courtyard, Eastern Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 2XB) to end the contract within 30 days of Us telling you about it and We will refund you any payments you've made in advance for products not provided. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

     

    You can only transfer your contract with Us to someone else if We agree to this. We will act reasonably when considering any such requests. For example, We may not agree if (i) you have an ongoing subscription and the person you wish to transfer the contract to is under 18 years of age or (ii) if We believe that the transfer may impact Our ability to get paid sums due to Us under the contract.

     

    Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and Us. Nobody else can enforce it and neither of Us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it. If We or you transfer this contract to someone else (as described above), the person that the contract is transferred to will have rights under this contract in place of you or Us (as applicable).

     

    If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.

     

    Even if We delay in enforcing this contract, We can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you're not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean We can't do it later.

    Entire agreement:

    This clause does not apply if you are a Consumer.

    If you are a Business Purchaser, these terms constitute the entire agreement between Us in relation to its subject matter and extinguishes all previous statements, agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings given by Us or on Our behalf, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.

    If you are a Business Purchaser, you agree that you shall have no remedies in respect of any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) given by Us or on Our behalf that is not set out in these terms and agree that you shall have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or negligent misstatement based on any statement in these terms.
