Rewards and Loyalty Program

These terms and conditions set out the terms applicable to Your membership of Our Rewards and Loyalty Program. Please review these terms and conditions as they create a legal contract upon which we intend to rely, and they may have changed since the last time You reviewed them.

Important:

By signing up to Our Rewards and Loyalty Program, You are confirming that You are at least 18 years of age. If You are not 18 years of age or over, You must not sign up to become a Member. 

SOME OF THESE TERMS APPLY ONLY TO CONSUMERS. “CONSUMER” MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL ACTING FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE WHOLLY OR MAINLY OUTSIDE OF THAT INDIVIDUAL'S TRADE, BUSINESS, CRAFT OR PROFESSION. FOR EXAMPLE, LIMITED COMPANIES ARE NOT “CONSUMERS”. IN THESE TERMS WE REFER TO PERSONS WHO ARE NOT A CONSUMER AS A “BUSINESS USER”.

IN THESE TERMS, IF WE USE THE WORDS ‘INCLUDING’, ‘INCLUDE’, ‘IN PARTICULAR’, ‘FOR EXAMPLE’ OR ANY SIMILAR EXPRESSION, WE ARE GIVING EXAMPLES AND THOSE WORDS SHALL NOT LIMIT THE SENSE OF THE WORDS, DESCRIPTION, DEFINITION, PHRASE OR TERM THAT FOLLOWS THOSE WORDS.

WE USE SOME WORDS AND PHRASES IN THESE TERMS THAT HAVE SET MEANINGS. WHERE WE DO THIS, WE WILL TELL YOU WHAT THE WORD OR PHRASE MEANS THE FIRST TIME IT IS USED, AND WE WILL USE A CAPITAL LETTER AT THE FRONT OF THAT WORD OR PHRASE EACH TIME IT IS USED.

  1. Who are we and how to contact us

For ease of reference, we are Venture Life Healthcare Limited (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) and these terms set out a contract with you (“You”, “Your”, “Member”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 05623945 and have Our registered office at Venture House, Arlington Square, Downshire Way, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 1WA.   1. What are in these terms?

These terms tell You the rules for using Our Rewards and Loyalty Program (Our “Program”). Our Program will be accessible through Your online member account with Us (“Account”). 

You will be automatically enrolled into the Program once You have registered an Account with Us. 

In the event that You do not wish to participate in the Program, please contact Us at customercare@liftglucose.com.

  1. Membership to the Program

Only one membership per person/email address is permitted. 

There is no cap on the amount of points You may be able to obtain during the course of the year.  

We may immediately suspend or terminate Your membership if we:

  • have cause to believe that the Member account has been set up fictitiously,
  • have cause to believe that these Terms and Conditions have been breached or You are not adhering to these Terms, 
  • believe You have provided information that is false or misleading,
  • have cause to believe You are creating multiple accounts with multiple email addresses.  

If We terminate or suspend Your membership in the circumstances described above, Your points will be cancelled and You will receive no benefit or compensation for this.

We reserve the right to amend the terms of the Program or end the operation of the Program entirely. For further details, please see paragraph 9 below.

Further, We can remove content from Our Program website and/or these Terms and Conditions at Our absolute discretion and as We see fit and We will not be liable to You or any third party for any updates, removals or changes to the Program website and/or these Terms and Conditions. 

You have the right to close Your account at any time by notifying Us in writing to Our Customer Services Team at customercare@liftglucose.com from the email address Your loyalty account is registered to. In the event Your account is closed, Your points will be deleted and You will receive no benefit or compensation for this. If, however, You would like to reinstate Your account in the future, those deleted points can be reinstated provided We are still offering the Program at that time. 

  1. Earning Points 

Points can be earned solely on www.liftglucose.com. This means that if You were to purchase Our products through a third-party website, any points You may be eligible to will not be credited to Your account. 

As well as earning points when purchasing products, You can earn discounts for referring other customers.  More information on this can be found in clause 11 below. You can also earn points by doing the things described in our loyalty section of Our webpage.

As at the date of these terms, for every £1.00 You spend with Us on www.liftglucose.com, You will receive 1 point. For more information on this, please visit Our Program webpage. Please note that the way that points are awarded (including the amount of points awarded per £1.00 spent) is subject to change, so please ensure You regularly review Our webpage for more information. We will give You not less than 30 days’ notice of any such changes We plan to make – We will do this by emailing the email address registered in Your Account.

Please note that points cannot be redeemed for a monetary value.  

Please note that points cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts. 

If You have purchased products in the past, You will not be entitled to earn any available points retrospectively.

Program points do not expire, and You can check Your balance in Your Account at any time. 

In the event that points have been deducted in error, We will endeavour to rectify this as soon as possible. If You have a query about Your points balance, please contact Our Customer Services Team here – customercare@liftglucose.com

Where products are returned and refunded, any used points earned for the returned and refunded items shall be deducted from Your account or reversed.

Points for leaving a product review can only be awarded once every 90 days.

  1. How do I use my points?

Your points will be converted into a £5 / £10 gift card (dependent on how many points You choose to redeem). You will be able to use that gift card to purchase products on Our website through Your Account. Our terms and conditions of sale https://liftglucose.com/pages/terms-conditions will apply to any purchases You make using the gift card(s) via Our website. 

There is no time limit on expiry of the gift cards. Once purchased, an email shall be sent to the email address linked to Your Account with a code for You to use the gift card(s). 

Please note that the way that points can be used (including the amount of points required for gift cards and the items that points can be exchanged for) is subject to change, so please ensure You regularly review Our webpage for more information. We will give You not less than 30 days’ notice of any such changes We plan to make – We will do this by emailing the email address registered in Your Account.

  1. Charitable Donations 

We are proud supporters of Sebastian’s Action Trust (charity number: 1151146) and Diabetes UK (The British Diabetic Association operating as Diabetes UK, charity number: 215199) donated directly through Work for Good (CRN: 02891787). 

As part of Our pledge to continue supporting these fantastic charities, We are also offering Our Members the opportunity to donate their Points. 

Within Your Portal, You have the option to donate in 100 point increments to either charitable foundation (which is the equivalent of £1.00 per 100 points). There is no limit to the amount of points that can be redeemed for a charitable donation. 

There is no limit to the amount of charitable donations. Once Your points have been donated, these are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  1. Amending these terms

We reserve the right to amend the terms of the Program at any time.

Unless it is an emergency situation, We will provide You with not less than 30 days’ notice of any amendments to these terms and conditions – We will do this by emailing the email address registered in Your Account.

  1. Termination, suspension and ending the Program

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your membership of the Program and Your account if You breach any of these Terms, or for any other reason these Terms permit Us to do so.

We reserve the right to end the Program entirely at any time. 

Unless We terminate or suspend in circumstances where You are in breach of these Terms, or if it is an emergency situation, We will provide You with not less than 30 days notice of any such planned suspension, termination or ending of the Program – We will do this by emailing the email address registered in Your Account.

If We terminate or suspend Your membership or if We decide to end the Program, Your points will be cancelled and You will receive no benefit or compensation for this. 

  1. Privacy Policy 

Here at Venture Life, We take the privacy of Our customers seriously. If You would like to find out more information about the way in which We process Your data, please visit Our Privacy Policy (https://liftglucose.com/policies/privacy-policy). Please note that Our Privacy Policy is subject to change, so You should review this from time to time. We ensure that the way in which We process data is compliant with all applicable Data Protection Legislation. 

  1. Marketing Preferences 

We may use marketing as a way of promoting latest news and deals about Our Program. Marketing communications may be provided via email or text message. 

By signing up to Our Program, You have opted-in to receiving this marketing. More information about Our marketing communications can be found at clause 8 of Our Privacy Policy.

You can ask Us to opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to You. 

Please note: From time to time We may change the way You earn points or the amount of points You earn for different actions. Please ensure You regularly review Our webpage for more information. We will give You not less than 30 days notice of any such changes We plan to make – We will do this by emailing the email address registered in Your Account.

  1. Social Media and Referrals 

You will be entitled to receive points via Social Media platforms Facebook and Instagram. 

You will receive 50 points if You like Our Facebook page. 

You will receive 50 points if You follow Our Instagram handle. 

Please note that You will be limited to one account per social media page (for example, You will not be permitted to use multiple Instagram accounts to obtain any redeemable points). 

Please note: We reserve the right to change the number of points awarded via Our social media platforms. Please ensure You regularly review Our webpage for more information. We will give You not less than 30 days’ notice of any such changes We plan to make – We will do this by emailing the email address registered in Your Account.

We reserve the right to suspend Your account if We believe You are setting up multiple profiles to benefit from this perk. 

Within Your Account, You will see that there is a unique referral link. You will need to send this to Your chosen referral, and once they have clicked onto this referral link, the discount will be deducted from their order. Once they have checked out and purchased the products on Our website, You will receive an email from Us confirming that this purchase has taken place and You will then also receive a discount code. 

There is no limit on how many referrals You may make. 

  1. Severance 

If a court invalidates some of these Terms and Conditions, the rest will still apply. Each of the terms of these Terms and Conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of these terms are unlawful, the remaining terms will continue to apply.

  1. Assignment

We can transfer Our rights and / or obligations under these Terms and Conditions (including details of Your membership of the Program), so that a different person or organisation has the rights that We originally had and / or is responsible for the obligations We originally had under these Terms and Conditions – for example if We sell Our business. We will tell You in writing if this happens and We will ensure that the transfer will not affect Your rights under these Terms and Conditions.

You may only transfer Your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another person with Our advance written consent.  We may withhold Our consent if We are concerned that the person to whom You wish to transfer Your rights or obligations may not be able to comply with the obligations to Us in accordance with the terms of these Terms and Conditions. 

  1. Law and Jurisdiction

You can go to court. These terms are governed by English law and wherever You live You can bring claims against Us in the English courts. If You live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, You can also bring claims against Us in the courts of the country You live in. We can claim against You in the courts of the country You live in.

  1. Third Parties

These terms are between You and Us. No other person has any rights to enforce any of its terms.
